FANDUEL STRATEGY WEEK 2 NFL 2014

This post is specifically for FANDUEL WEEK 2 NFL.
I will  put a (FP) next to one player in each position for my Favorite pick aka FLIPS PICK based on their value & match-up.
Now lets get it.   Abbreviations: Cost Per Point(CPP) Flips Pick (FP)

*****CARSON PALMER IS OUT DO NOT START
QB: Best Plays
Andrew Luck ($9,200)- This game with the Eagles is going to be fast and high scoring.  The Colts will most likely abandon the run game again like they did week 1 when they realize they have Trent Richardson.  Look for Luck to put up big numbers under the lights this Monday night at home.
Andy Dalton ($7,800)- After seeing how fast Matty Ice can score and how many points Brees put up week 1 this looks like it will be a shoot out.  Dalton should have a big game airing it out to A.J. and how involved Giovani Bernard is in the pass game.  For $7,800 you've got to like your odds with this match-up.
QB: Worst Plays:
Matthew Stafford (9,300)- While he is a fantasy beast I would avoid him this week at such a high price.  Hes going against a elite Panthers defense at home who will be hungry with their starting QB back in the line-up.  If you want to spend big on a QB this week go for Peyton at $10,200 or save urself $100 and take Andrew Luck.
Jay Cutler ($8,100)- Not a horrible price point for Cutler but going against a San Fran Defense looking like they are trying to prove themselves as a top D with a number of missing pieces.  The 49’ers will be hype playing in a new stadium including the fans, it will be very loud.  Cutler’s arm and brain aren’t always on the same page and that’s why i stay away from him here, go for Foles at $8,300 or Dalton at $7,800 if this is your QB price range.
RB: Best Plays
Arian Foster (FP) ($8,300)- Hes back and just trying to be the best teammate he can be ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T6weWPXuJhs ).  Arian has one of if not the best match-up this week going against a Raiders defense who let the Jets run all over them.  You dont need to worry about another RB stealing those goal line touches either here, Arian carried 27 times week 1.  He should get some good opportunities to take a screen play to the house.  With his past history at Oakland you got to feel confident with this pick.
Alfred Morris ($7,200)- The Redskins will look to establish the run game here against the Jaguars.  Morris still put up 91 yards against a Texans D that dominated the game.  The way things look he should go for 100+ and a TD this week.
Terrance West ($5,300)- West is named the starter this week against the Saints and is likely to get 20+ carries.  With their TE Jordan Cameron doubtful to play West should be the workhorse.  The Saints D wasn't impressive week one either.
RB: Worst Plays
Jamaal Charles (9,100)- After getting embarrassed by the Titans I do not have faith in the Chiefs offense to put up numbers against a even better defense in Denver.  Peyton will control the game leaving the Chiefs trying to play catch-up by airing it out.  If you are considering Charles please don’t, go with LeSean McCoy for $100 extra who is a guarantee to put up numbers this week.
Reggie Bush ($7,800)- I’m not confident in Bush ever, even more so against the Panthers.  Stay away from him here for $6,800 there are better options like Montee Ball at $8,100.
C.J. Spiller ($7,500)- Had a pretty solid game against the Bears but with a split RB committee, its to much of a risk to take him.  He also is deferred to Fred Jackson around the goal-line.
WR: Best Plays
Demaryius Thomas (FP) ($8,700)- Lets be real, he will not have another game like that again.  He was targeted most receiver, multiple times in the red zone, and it was clear Julius Thomas had the mismatch that night.  Peyton likes to keep his WR’s happy and against the Chiefs Demaryius should be smiling after the game.
Jordy Nelson ($7,900)- Arron Rodgers and Jordys timing is some of the best in the league.  Just because he didn't get in the endzone against the best defense in the league doesn't mean he wont against the Jets.
Andre Johnson ($7,100)- People forget about how good this guy is.  Against a weak Raiders defense look for Andre to get some big plays with a capable QB Fitzpatrick who likes to look for him.
Michael Floyd ($6,600)- After a big week 1 im suprsied that Floyd is still this cheap.  You got to like his big play ability with a QB who airs it out.  Not saying Floyd is Megatron but the Giants defense is bad enough to make Floyd look like him this week.
Jeremy Maclin ($6,300)- As I said before this game against the Colts will have a lot of points.  Maclin proved himself week 1 and I feel that touchdown gave him the confidence he was looking for after coming off a ACL injury.  Foles and him have great chemistry and he should get at least 10 balls thrown his way Monday.
Reggie Wayne ($6,200)- The most targeted receiver for the Colts and Lucks safety net Reggie should have a huge game.  It will be a shootout between the Colts and Eagles Monday night and the Colts will give up on the run game and air it out.  I’m expecting at least 100 yards and 10 catches, hopefully a TD too.  I mean come on...T.Y. Hilton is $200 more than Wayne.
Andrew Hawkins ($5,200)- Brian Hoyers favorite target...or mabye more along the lines of his ONLY target.  He is Hoyers go to guy and likely without Jordan Cameron he should just as many or even more looks then he did last week.
WR: Worst Plays
Vincent Jackson ($7,300)- I do like Jacksons match-up this week but he is way overpriced to take him this week.  There are much better options including Emmanuel Sanders who looked amazing week 1.
Cordarrelle Patterson ($7,100)- Had a huge performance last week due to his big play, but that’s what your getting with Patterson…a shot a huge play.  For $7,100 this week ill pass as there are much better options.  Now that AP is out Sunday Bill Belichick will most likely blanket Patterson.
TE: Best Plays
Greg Olsen (FP) ($6,400)- Olsen is Cams only returning target from last year and look for him to rely on him this week.  Cam should be on top of his game and looking for him all day long especially in the red zone.
Zach Ertz ($5,600)- A big red zone target and a great runner straight up the middle seam.  Foles loves him some Big Country (Ertz Nickname) and he will have his opportunities Monday in a fast paced game against the Colts.  Also Julius Thomas just put up 3 TD against the Colts to make Ertz more attractive.
Delanie Walker ($5,000)- If your tight on $ and you need a TE Walker is a good choice here.  Targeted multiple times in the red zone last week and going against the Cowboys who also let up multiple TD to the opposing TE last week this is a great value pick.
TE: Worst Plays
Julius Thomas ($8,100)- After a performance like that you would expect him to be the highest salary TE and he is.  Do not put $8,100 into Thomas, and if you MUST spend big on ur TE then put it in Jimmy Graham at $8,000 the best TE in the game.  Peyton will spread the ball and he wont get that kind of production this week.
Vernon Davis ($6800)- Another multi TD TE from last week overpriced.  Kap will spread the ball more and look for his bread n butter Crabtree at full strength more.  Davis is TD dependent as he doesn’t get a high volume of targets and I just don’t see it this week.
K: Best Plays (I will only do "Best Plays" for Kickers)

Steven Hauschka (FP) ($5,300)- The Seahawks offense looks better than last years and Hauschka is one of the best in the business.  He should get plenty of attempts against a weak Chargers defense and the Seahawks defense controlling the field position game.

Mike Nugent ($5,200)- Another great kicker, and this game looks to be a shootout.  Nugent should get some good FG attempts with an offense that can defiantly move the ball against the Falcons.
Cody Parkey ($4,900)- The rookie looked solid in his 1st game at home.  Now traveling to the Colts indoor facility he shouldn't have any problem knocking them in there either.  In a high scoring game with an Eagles offense that can move the chains Parkey can have a big game.
D/ST: Best Plays
Texans ($5,400)- JJ Watt a one man wrecking crew should cause all kinds problems for the Raiders who don’t seem promising to have a big day.  Also Derek Carr will be baptized a few times by Watt Sunday.
Cardinals ($5,300)- You gotta like your odds with the Cardinals defense playing solid against Phillip Rivers and a solid Chargers offense.  They will play the Giants who did not seem impressive against the Lions, also Eli is pick happy right now.
Patriots ($5,100)- All of a sudden the Patriots defense looks great this week.  Going up against a Vikings team with no AP they should be able to contain the big plays without a RB threat.
Buccaneers (FP) ($4,900)- Bucc’s at home against a awful Rams offense, you got to love this match-up. Solid pick here to not allow a lot of points and hopefully cause some turnovers.
Redskins ($4,500)- Sleeper alert!  You got to have some kahunas to make this pick but after a decent performance against the Texans this could be the best value play of the D/ST.  Even with their offenses multiple turnovers the Redskins D hung in there and should be ready at home against a bad and injured Jags offense.
D/ST: Worst Plays
Vikings ($5,300)- I don’t recommend taking any defense other than the others i listed because the price difference is so small.  I wanted to note not to take the Vikings off a good performance against a really really bad Rams offense.  They will face the Patriots who will put up points.
